ABOUT ME
MY STORY
Bob Ross once said; “There is no such thing as mistakes, just happy accidents”. Photography was my happy accident.
Growing up in a family filled with hardworking creatives, there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to be in the art field. My dream from a young child was to be a Bratz who did mad scientist potions and painted. If you see it from a different perspective I am not too far from it. I attempted the sewing machine but after getting my wrist stuck in the needle I decided to explore other avenues for my “Passion for Fashion”.
While exploring those avenues and different art media, I stumbled upon fashion photography. Photography allowed me to enhance the beauty of people I loved with portraits, which is exactly what I wanted to do with designing garments. Combining two things that I enjoyed made me feel confident with persuing this dream. I love to photograph portraits and lately have been looking into trying commercial/lifestyle. As of right now, I have been working my retail job, while also being a photo/production assistant.
I’ve worked as a production assistant with companies like Corona, McDonald's x Crocs, AARP, and KFC. Throughout my educational career, I have been lucky enough to meet many people who have opened doors for me. Thanks to them I continue doing what I am doing and want to do much more.
